Taylor Lybbert captured the title of Miss Teen Idaho International 2010 September 26th at the Nampa Civic Center in Nampa Idaho. Taylor will use this opportunity as Miss Teen Idaho International to voice her passion to educate other teens about the effects of tobacco use. Taylor has teamed up with Project Filter and T.A.T.U (Teens Against Tobacco Use) to help spread her personal message to her peers.
Proud to be the sophomore class representative for her high school, Taylor is also very involved with the following school events, speech, ballroom dancing, leadership, ASAB, and Rachel’s Challenge. In addition to her work advocating for Project Filter and T.A.T.U, Taylor is also involved with several other organizations including: The Special Olympics World Games, Dress-A-Child, Meals on Wheels, Idaho Food Bank, Canyon County and Ada County Festival of Trees, Light up the Night, and Boys and Girls Club.
Taylor has received many Honor Roll awards and the Golden Endurance award for Computer Technology. Taylor plans to attend College after high school where she will pursue her dreams of becoming a fashion designer. Her secret obsession is coats and gowns. You will always find her drawing new designs when she has free time.
A few things that people may not know about Taylor is that she is the oldest of six children, she keeps stats for her high schools baseball team, she enjoys, singing, dancing, modeling, helping out in the special education classes at her school and shopping. One of Taylor’s favorite things to do is go shopping on black Friday with her mom, aunt and grandma. Every year on the day after Thanksgiving she gets up at 4am to hit those great morning sales, break for some brunch and then back to shopping.
